After
a short stay in the marketing department
of a nation-wide computer engineering company,
Frédéric Lasnier founded Pentalog with the
help of 4 other University classmates. As
the market trends were moody, he decided
to focus the company's strategy on emerging
markets such as Micro-Unix, Client-Server
and the Internet, where even a small company
could find its place. From 1995, he decided
to make the employees participate in the
corporate capital; now worker participation
has reached a level of 60% of the total
assets.
Since
1997 he has been trying to develop the company's
business world-wide. In 2000, exports accounted
for 25 % of the company's turnover. In 1999,
we went to Romania for for a huge development
project ("The Port"). He recruited the necessary
staff, increased the corporate capital and
implemented both an operation unit and a
research unit in Artificial Intelligence
in Eastern Europe and set up Pentalog's
European low cost strategy.
In
2006 he created a joint venture together
with Ausy, one of the biggest French R&D
outsourcing services companies: Pentalog
Technology, offering low cost high quality
R&D services to world-wide industry majors.
Frederic
is also a Marketing and Project Management
teacher at the university of Orléans. |

Aymeric Libeau is the company's technical
expert.
He

Guy
Lasnier has retreated from SchlumbergerSema
and Renault. Beginning as system analyst
at Crédit Agricole, then at Cap Gemini,
Guy Lasnier quickly assumed the responsibilities
specific for his job.
In the industry (16 years at Renault Industrial
Vehicles), he was in charge of the organization
and the data processing systems of the factory
in Limoges. Accordingly, he was responsible

Monica Jiman joined Pentalog as a trainee
in France in May 2003. Back in Romania a
few months later, she took on the sales
and marketing activities of the company.
In 2004 Pentalog opened its office in Bucharest
and Monica was chosen to run it. Now she
is the head of a 27-person team. From a
commercial point of view she is in charge
of the developement of Pentalog's local
and offshore activities. Her tasks also
include the recuitment of consultants, as
well as human resources and budget management
in the Bucharest office. |

Raluca Otelea holds a Master's Degree in
European Studies and completed an internship
with Pentalog at the French headquarters
in 2004. She quickly showed strong interest
in finance and took an intensive training
with Virginie, the Chief Financial Officer
of Pentalog's. Back in Romania, Raluca became
the administrative and financial manager
of the company's Offshore Business Unit.
Since 2006 she is in charge of Human Resources
and Financial Management for Pentalog in
Romania and Moldova. She organizes and takes
part in events aiming at finding new collaborators
or trainees (jobshops, contests, etc.) and
manages the whole recruitment process. |

Mircea Popa used to work as a programmer
and project manager for many years in big
German companies before he created his own
IT services company “Carpath Software”
in Brasov in 2004. He managed projects for
clients based in the German-speaking area
and worked on business development in Germany
and Austria for 4 years.
Then he joined the Pentalog group in 2008,
following the merger between Pentalog and
Carpath Software and he became the managing
director of the newly created subsidiary
“Lasnier & Popa GmbH (Pentalog
group)”, in Frankfurt.
He is now in charge of finding new customers
and ensure the continuity of already existing
business relationships in the German-speaking
area, as well as recruiting German-speaking
consultants for the Frankfurt office and
offshore-based development teams in Romania
and Moldova.

of the business development activity in
Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well
as the administration and coordination between
the local customers and offshore teams.

Manuel joined Pentalog in May 2002, while
he was still a student at the University
of Brasov (Marketing section). First he
was assigned with responsibilities in the
fields of marketing, sales and administration.
Since 2004 Manuel is the manager of the
Brasov office (60 persons in June 2008).
In March 2008 Manuel became the manager of the new office in Sibiu (40 persons in June 2008). His tasks include the supervision of the
Brasov and Sibiu teams and activities, as well as budget
management. |

Serghei Goloborodico graduated in IT from
the technical university of Moldova and
joined the Pentalog team as a trainee in
2003. He appeared to be a reliable developer
with excellent technical skills and raplidly
became a project manager. Serghei completed
several missions in France where he worked
for customers as a developer, project manager
and consultant. In March 2005 Pentalog opened
its office in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova,
and Serghei was appointed as an office manager.
Now he is at the head of a 70-person team (in June 2008),
supervises the activities and manages the
budget of his office. He is also in charge
of recruitment in Moldova. |

| Grégory Rondin,

At the end of his studies in 2001, Grégory
Rondin took an internship at Pentalog in
Orléans. As a Java and Microsoft
developer, Grégory took part in several
projects for clients and then he seized
the opportunity to settle in Romania. Within
the agency of Brasov, Grégory quickly
became a Project Manager.
In August 2007, Pentalog opened a fourth
offshore branch in Romania and Grégory
was offered a director’s position
in Iasi. On 30 June 2008 he already was
the head of a 25 member-team. His tasks
include the supervision of the team and
their activity, budget administration as
well as the recruitment of new collaborators
for the Iasi office.
