| "This
important influx of new customers highlihts the
three tactical axes composing our services strategy".
It is with that enigmatic sentence that Frédéric
Lasnier, President and CEO of the Pentalog High
Tech company introduced the new key accounts
with whom the company has met success. The
first option is the e-business one. In 1997, Pentalog
High Tech opened the first corporate website
dedicated to the on line commerce of software
enginering services. In 2001, the company reorganized
its commercial staff of 4 people. One is now dedicated
to the website animation (news, tenders, new services...).
This one is also the animator of an important
prospection database. The consequence is that
now only one people is necessary to the classical
commercial job. Indeed, the prospecting task is
70% automated. Sales have increased about 15%
whereas the marketing costs decrease about 30.
This web cost killing allows the company to reduce
its breakeven level.
"Internet, as over innovative technologies
before, has to be source of productivity gains.
The time of unserious financial analysts ended",
said Frédéric Lasnier.
If you to know more about the Pentalog High
Tech's e-business strategy, you can consult
the video
interview of Frédéric Lasnier
(only in french). (Please , download RealPlayer).
The second
tactical option concerns the nature of the services.
"Our team has to reinforce its knowledges
and to progress in the consulting field in order
to developp its added value. The number of new
customers this year highlights the efforts the
company did in the decision making, datawarehousing,
ERP and portals. During the 4th quarter, we will
run a new billing datawarehouse for France Telecom
while we are in charge of many others dealing
with marketing by Equant and Orange. We are now
writing some specifications for Price Waterhouse
Coopers in order to develop some financial views
on Oracle Application for an important french
public service and the Accor Group choosed us
to help the driving of its Oracle Application
Strategy" declared Mister Lasnier.
The third tactical
option is about the geographic location of our
business. Pentalog High Tech is a small
but not local company. "we are now moving
to a both local, national and international strategy"
said the President. "Indeed with some new
local clients such as Lexmak whom we provide some
DBA services or the big sugar pool of Artenay
(ERP integration) the company is now able to propose
to our collaborators some interesting local missions".
The company
wants now to combine local, national and international
opportunities in order to alternate the mission
location. |
