| Frédéric
Lasnier - President&Chief Executive Officer |
 |
After
a short stay in the marketing department
of a nation-wide computer engineering company,
Frédéric Lasnier founded Pentalog
with the help of 5 other University classmates. As
the market trends were moody, he decided
to focus the company’s strategy on
emerging markets such as Micro-Unix, Client-Server
and the Internet, where even a small company
could find its place. From 1995, he decided
to make the employees participate in the
corporate capital; now worker participation
has reached a level of 60% of the total
assets.
Since 1997 he has been trying to develop
the company’s business world-wide.
In 2000, exports accounted for 25 % of the
company’s turnover.In 1998, the project
‘The Port’ saw the light of
day. He recruited the necessary staff, increased
the corporate capital and implemented both
an operation unit and a research unit in
Artificial Intelligence in Eastern Europe.
